A showcase of UK contemporary circus presented by City Circ · 17-19 April 2013 · London

Circus Now is a three-day showcase for programmers and producers who want to encounter the best of UK contemporary circus. Organised by the City Circ network and hosted by five of London's leading circus venues — the Roundhouse, Jacksons Lane, artsdepot, the Albany and Stratford Circus — the showcase will combine presentations of tour-ready shows and work-in-progress with practical sessions on marketing and audience development.

Full-length shows: Delegates will receive tickets to three full-length shows by So & So Circus Theatre, Ockham's Razor, and NoFit State Circus.

Project presentations: Delegates will attend a number of short pitching sessions where artists present finished work and in-progress projects.

Talks & Networking: A series of talks will give delegates practical guidance on hosting and marketing circus work, while informal networking time will provide a chance to exchange information and experiences.

Arts market: On the final day delegates will be free to circulate around an arts market and meet contemporary circus companies one-to-one.
