Tumble Circus welcome you to Damn the Circus, a show about circus, poetry and annoying reality. This is no ordinary circus show; it is an absurd trip into the world of three very special carnies. It's circus from the dark side of feel-good. Disobedient clowns, suffering acrobats and confused jugglers clash in a colorful kaleidoscope of mayhem, with their message 'Death to everything that is not circus'.

Brief description of set:
2 roll out mats (6m x 4m), speaker stack on either side, harp and keyboard upstage stage left, crashmat upstage stage right, silver buckets with props, little white stool, various circus props. Trapeze and rope and silk rigged in the middle.
Min dimensions: 7.0m wide, 7.0m deep, 7.0m high
Rigging:
The rigging points need to be fixed (no movement) with 7.5m clearance between points and stage (please contact the company if the performance space is lower than 7m and higher than 9m). SWL min 600 kg. For the show the company rigs: 1 doubles trapeze with 1 corde lisse beside (stage left); 1 tissu (the tissu needs to be in the middle of the stage, preferably in front of the trapeze), with a paging line as a snap shackle; 2 paging lines (not weight bearing) on either side of stage.
