Coming slightly out of the blue to the Southbank Centre's Purcell Room, Game Over is a collaboration between Pierre Rigal's Compagnie Dernière Minute and the director Aurélien Bory, a dance/circus/sports piece that recreates remembered images from the 1982 World Cup semi-final between France and West Germany. Definitely worth booking for; Bory has directed some of the most significant visual theatre of the last ten years (much of it seen in the UK through the London International Mime Festival), and Rigal has been in London fairly recently with two individualistic and curiously disparate works – Press, a solo played out on a tiny stage that only diminished as the walls and ceiling closed in, and Micro, a tiny pre-post-rock concert.
