SKYE GELLMANN lives in a Melbourne house covered by vines and it is true, that these vines hold up the walls. On grimy warped floors he has created work for 6 years, and through some intuition and also luck, has amounted an impressive display of accolades he uses to patch holes in his roof.
Beyond the rusting rooftop, his scheming intention is to perform circus in space in order to explore the effects of zero gravity on the circus body. He is tinkering with a number of immersive and highly physical circus creations at the moment, and has successfully toured for the last 6 years to venues and festivals around Australia and the world.
