Managed by the City of Paris and the Institut Français, the Centre International des Récollets is a prestigious venue that offers residencies to established artists and researchers from around the world.
Residencies are awarded for periods of three months (which must be taken as one block but can be anywhere in the year), and are open to artists working in all disciplines so long as they are established in their respective fields. Applicants should be foreigners (i.e. not French nationals) currently living and working outside of France; they must speak English or French and not hold any other grants for the period of their residency.
To apply, artists must propose a project that can be carried out in partnership with a specified local structure (a cultural site or resource centre, gallery, company, etcetera), or with an artist or well-known figure from the arts and culture community of Paris or the surrounding area.
Selected residents receive a monthly grant of 1500 Euros, and free accommodation at Récollets.
