Brought to Edinburgh as part of the Institut Français' Vive Le Fringe programme, L'Enfant Qui... is a quietly insistent work based on the early life, and constant illness, of the sculptor Patrick Masset. It's an autumnal sort of a performance, quite sad, evoking the atmosphere of the forest with a few simple elements and capturing the young Masset through a beautiful wooden puppet, playful and sometimes wayward. It's a strong piece, and comes recommended.
