    Metta Theatre, Sexing the Cherry

This will be an interesting one. Metta Theatre are incorporating aerial into their theatre language for the first time, but have brought onboard Layla Rosa as the aerial choreographer for their adaptation of Jeanette Winterson's novel Sexing the Cherry. How it will fare is anyone's guess but Winterson's raucous, fascinating/repelling, colourful text is an ambitious one to tackle: it has several strands, but the most vivid of is set in 17th Century London and follows the character of the (again, fascinating/repelling) Dog Woman.
