A famous training space in Berlin that's been going for nearly a decade, Katakomben is a large artist-run facility, 500 square metres divided into nine separate training areas. To train at the space there's a 10€ annual membership fee, and then tiered prices going from a daily (5€) to an annual (720€) rate. It's a good deal. The space is open 9am – 10pm and those who are paying for a month's training or longer can pay a deposit to get their own key. In the past Katakomben has been known as a space for jugglers, with masterclasses and workshops organised in the space, but there are rigging points for aerialists as well.
