Psychological Art Circus

<b>Opaque symbolism and corporeal reality.</b> In the UK, Psychological Art Circus are unusual for being a young company with a style of performance that sits apart from the work coming out of Circus Space and Circomedia, the two big circus schools. For much of the company's life their home and creative hub was the Area 10 warehouse in Peckham (which has since shut down), a multi-disciplinary space for performance, visual and live art, and it feels as though PAC grew in that environment to be a strange hybrid – blending circus, mime and the tropes of durational performance into their own aesthetic language.
