Under the management of Mercury Productions, Slip 6 is an immense and very tall warehouse in Historic Dockyard Chatham that will, perhaps, eventually, be turned into a dedicated creation space. Right now the project is in Phase I, researching and testing various models for functional use, and artists are being invited to take free residence in the space.
Slip 6 has lockable storage, work benches, power and lighting, and resident artists have access to the Slip 6 staff team, including a Production Manager who can assist with sourcing materials, and a Project Coordinator to help with orgainsing accommodation and catering.
Due to the huge size of the warehouse, it's possible either to leave it as a single space or divide it and have multiple artists/companies in residence.
