Total Theatre Magazine is the UK's only quarterly print publication dedicated to physical and visual theatre, circus, street arts, puppetry, devised and site-specific theatre, interdisciplinary work, wild improv – all the good stuff.
TT's remit is to act as a publication by artists, for artists, which in actuality means only that the content is generally authoritative, sensitive, in-depth, and distinctively minded – not that it's impenetrable or filled with jargon. Alongside feature articles and regular items such as Voices (an interview with an established artist) there's a Reviews section that gives over space to long-form criticism and a half-dozen Update pages that flag up some of the major events on the theatre skyline.
If you're at all interested in the fringes of live performance that are now pushing their way into the mainstream then TT is the best source of information – and has been for the last ten years.
