Returning after a five-year hiatus for its second edition, Circus Futures is a two-day conference that combines speakers, panel discussions and other typical conference workings with three showcases – each programmed by an independent producer – of finished, bookable work. The full conference schedule is yet to be confirmed, but the speakers and panellists will include Billy Alwen, Adrian Berry, Ali Williams, Annabelle Holland, Chantal McCormick, Francesca Martello, Jaine Lumsden, Jeremy Shine, John-Paul Zaccarini, JoJo Pickering, Kiki Muukkonen, Mike Ribalta, Sverre Waage, and Vicki Amedume. The 2006 edition was really rich, really full, and the showcases turned up some interesting work. The conference fee is £195 plus VAT.
