In a dry month for UK circus, there's always Dance + Circus: Swings and Roundabouts, a night of short acts from the two artforms. Usually the crossover in these cases is fairly superficial – circus artists who do a bit of floor contemporary before hitting the Chinese pole, or aerialists who perform their act to tango, matched with dancers who put a little acrobatics into their usual vocabulary. Circus acts confirmed so far are handbalancer Sammy Dinneen and tightwire walker (/dancer) Alana Jones.
