Performed at 47/49, a newish creative project space near Tower Bridge occupying three floors of an old Victorian warehouse, The Alchemy of the Purple Ladies is a night of multidisciplinary performance from the Purple Ladies Collective. Of the four short pieces on offer, the most circus-specific is Lina Jungergard and Christelle Lafille's Human Possibilities, an 'extraordinary story of a woman and her washing machine, told with poetry, aerial circus, dance, sound and projections'.
