Conflux – Scotland's development agency for circus, physical theatre and street arts – is offering free morning surgeries every second Tuesday for the rest of the year, to be held at the Briggait in Glasgow.
The surgeries will be run by Conflux directors Al Seed and Alan Richardson, are open to all practitioners working in circus or physical theatre (but aimed particularly at emerging artists), and can be used for one of two purposes: to get business advice and/or info on career development and training opportunities; or to present short works-in-progress to the Conflux directors for feedback and artistic guidance.
The remaining surgeries for the year are 8 & 22 November 2011 and 6 & 20 December 2011, with slots at 10.30am, 11.30am and 12.30pm. They're free but by application, so if you're interested see here.
