Circus Next, the European initiative supporting the work of new circus creators, has announced twelve projects from a total 126 to have made the 2012-13 preselection shortlist. These are:

Circus Next will now grant residencies to the selected projects to support them in preparing for the next stage of the process: on-stage presentations and jury interviews in Neerpelt 12-16 November 2012. Five projects will then be selected as laureates and receive further support in the form of a small creation grant, artistic residencies, and mentoring.
