Chichester Festival Theatre, in association with stage impresario Cameron Mackintosh, is staging a revival of the 1980s musical Barnum, based on the life of circus owner, business magnate and legendary dissimulator P.T. Barnum.
The organisers are interested in casting male and female circus performers with aerial or acrobatic skills – preferably both – who also have stage experience of singing, dancing and acting. Other circus skills are an advantage, but not essential.
Applicants must have a UK/EU passport or full UK working VISA, and should be available to start rehearsals on 27 May 2013 for a one-year contract. To apply send a CV, a link to an online showreel, 2 x photos (one headshot and one full body shot), and a cover letter outlining your skills to barnumcasting@camack.co.uk or Barnum Casting, Cameron Mackintosh Ltd, 1 Bedford Square, London, WC1B 3RB.
Closing date for applications is 14 December 2012. Auditions will be held in Cardiff and London in early January (indicate in your application which city is closest to you).
