This month's Circostrada dossier is a short sample of the full, print Stradda magazine, taking two articles from Issue 17 (Photographs, Snapshots of the Dreamed City).
'Wild Shots' collects three short interviews with Jerome G Demuth, Antonio Gallego and Alberto de Pedro, artists using photography in street arts – exhibiting their work pasted, usually in large format, on the walls of urban areas, sometimes with authorisation, sometimes illegally; while 'Impressions in the City' introduces a small cluster of photographers who document the urban experience (take a look at least for the haunted photographs of Saint Petersburg by Alexey Titarenko, where the crowds are blurred into a low, monochrome fog).
As usual for Stradda, lovely image-led design and expressive but slightly wonky translated English.
