Cirkör LAB is a platform for national and international circus artists, companies and other artists acting in the circus sphere. Alongside a programme of masterclasses, workshops and seminars, Cirkör LAB runs a year-round international residency programme supporting both short- and long-term stays.
Groups or individual performers can apply for a residency to 'explore and deepen their knowledge of the art of circus, with a focus on method development, cross-artistic research, or rehearsals with a view to achieving results'. By agreement Cirkör LAB can also provide technical assistance, creative input and office space.
The programme is open to international artists, but is aimed particularly at those who've recently graduated from an HE university programme. Long-term residencies last 4-8 weeks and applications are accepted twice a year; applications for short-term residencies are accepted year-round.
