Hey there,
I've been hooping/ fire hooping on and off for four years now. I first discovered my obsession of the hoop when a friend of a friend let me use their psy-hoop. (LED hoop.)
From there I spent days trawling youtube videos of tricks and pausing them on each frame. My mother still can't forgive me for hooping in my room into the early hours. (To this day I cite this as the reason I can hoop so still, delicately poised between the corner of my desk and bed.)
Or the black lines in the wall when I did hit the wall.
I joined the Cambridge University firetroupe fairly early on and have been performing in May balls and the 800 celebration. (Anniversary of the birth to Cambridge University)
I'm not really excited to be joining Wildfire, whom I hope have a lot to teach me, and maybe a few more unconventional gigs.
I'm also attending Camcircus, where I'm absolutely awe struck by aerial silks. I'm annoyed I didn't get into it sooner.
I think that's me really. :)
