Artists Wanted for Cirque Bijou & Desperate Men's Battle for the Winds
By John Ellingsworth on 3 January 2012 in Jobs & Opportunities

Running up to and then marking the opening of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Sailing events, The Battle for the Winds is a multi-part large-scale outdoor performance produced by Cirque Bijou and Desperate Men that tells the story of – best guess on available information: – the Wind Gatherers' efforts to rescue the captured coastal winds from the wicked Doldrum.

Cirque Bijou are currently looking for experienced circus and street theatre artists for the project who 'have a range of skills: aerial, acrobatics, dance, parkour, extreme sports'. If you're interested or want to know more drop an e-mail to kate@cirquebijou.co.uk before 11 January 2012.
