As part of the programme of events in the run-up to Pilsen's year as a European Capital of Culture, the Pilsen 2015 team are inviting applications for a short residency at Nečtiny Chapel 5-22 September 2013.
The residency is open to individuals or artistic groups working in all genres, and is to create a site-specific project that responds to the theme of 'Nečtiny Chapel’s Transformation' – referring both to the building's transformation into a year-round artistic space, and to the individual experiences of artistic transformation that take place there.
The residency will culminate in a public presentation of the project (in cooperation with the Pilsen 2015 organisation) and will include a workshop involving local citizens (a presentation of artistic techniques, a workshop for children, etcetera).
The selected artist(s) will receive transport, accommodation, materials/equipment required for the residency, and an an honorarium of 300€ per resident.
