    Puffball

The Roundhouse and Wales Millennium Centre have commissioned artist Mark Storor to create Puffball - a new circus show for April 2014.

Mark is working with Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning (LGBTQ) young people across Britain during 2013 to gather ideas that will feed into the development of a production that explores their experiences around the themes of love, acceptance, family, sexuality and gender identity.

The producing team are also inviting professional circus performers who define themselves as LGBTQ to take part in the devising process and performance.

The producers are seeking adventurous, curious and brave performers who are willing to take part in an innovative devising process over several months, culminating in shows at the Roundhouse CircusFest 2014 and at Wales Millennium Centre.

The show will feature eight professional circus artists and seven young people trained in basic circus skills.

If you're interested in getting involved e-mail leila.jones@roundhouse.org.uk The Roundhouse will host an information meeting on 3 July at 3.30pm with a chance to meet Mark and hear more about the project. Performers will be asked to take part in a one-week research and development workshop in September 2013.
