Mish Weaver and Stumble Dance Circus are looking for two or three extraordinary/transcendent/radiant solo artists to participate in devising a new ensemble production commissioned from the Unlimited fund for London's Cultural Olympiad.
Your discipline doesn't matter – just that you should have some particular quality or skill that sets you (far, far) apart. Stumble are looking 'for people with an ability to push their performance persona, a vital performance energy or a particular interest in mental health that would inform their performance. The roles would involve being choreographed and directed in solo pieces, ensemble pieces, film work, devising with the company and working with music. Performers happy to use their voices, sing, dance and break the mould are very welcome.'
Any nationality, any language, performers with and without disabilities, and, once again, with any skill base. It's a fairly big chunk of work on offer: some paid audition time in March, five weeks work between July and September, and then lots of touring work in 2012 with the final production.
In the first instance, interested artists should send a CV, footage of their main discipline, and the contact details of a director/coach who's willing to give a discursive reference. E-mail Mish Weaver on info@stumbledancecircus.com
