Gyeonggi Creation Center, an incredible seven-building, 16,225m2 arts facility opened in 2009 in Sungam-do, Ansan-si, is issuing an open call for applications for its 2013 creation and research residencies (with foreign submissions encouraged).

Over the 2013-14 period the Center will support approximately 30 creative teams/individuals and four research teams/individuals, with residency periods divided into four three-month blocks:

    - March-May 2013
    - June-August 2013
    - September-November 2013
    - December 2013 - February 2014

Selected applicants will receive support in the form of: space (their own studio, plus access to a shared creation space and materials workshops); financial support to contribute toward production costs; opportunities to participate in residency and international exchange programmes; mentoring. The Center will also cover the cost of a return flight and accident insurance.

For more details on the residency and how to apply see here. Note that while the Center is artform agnostic, it's unlikely to have the facilities to support technically complicated circus work (check beforehand!). The deadline for applications is 14 December 2012.
