Caravan, a performance showcase presented biennially to national and international producers/promoters at Brighton Festival, is currently seeking proposals from professional, England-based theatre and performance artists and companies interested in being a part of the Caravan 2014 showcase.
Participating artists/companies will have the opportunity to present their work across a range of showcase activities including a select programme of full-length pieces; a programme of site-sensitive work for creations not made for traditional theatre spaces; a series of short pitch sessions; and an open, informal marketplace. Applicants can also suggest their own ideas for presenting work within the showcase.
Caravan is able to provide some financial support to cover 'the costs of participating in the showcase, depending on agreed scale, nature and location of the contribution'.
