As yet another output of the Nordic Circus Year, the Finnish Circus Information Centre, FEDEC and Sorin Sirkus are coming together to organise a one-day conference, Future Circus Arts Education, on 22 August 2011 at Turku University of Applied Sciences in Turku, Finland.
There'll be presentations on two broad subjects – 'Circus artists' professional integration: from student to artist, what are the actual and future paths for a better integration in the sector?' and 'Circus teacher's training: continuing education and professional development, teachers' exchanges between schools' – followed by working group activites and a final seminar.
