You Might Also Like... is a new commission issued by London's Ovalhouse that aims to support six artists or companies to create new work that can be presented, as work-in-progress, during the venue's autumn season.
Part of the commission's remit is to nurture inter-regional relationships, and so Ovalhouse will be selecting three artists/groups from London and three from outside the capital. Companies applying for the commission should either have a strong audience base in London or be based regionally but have a desire to develop connections with the city.
The commissions are open to any artists working in live performance, but Ovalhouse has a strong programming identity so check their events archive and artistic statement to get an idea of their tastes.
Those chosen for a commission receive rehearsal space, production and marketing support, some expenses (if based outside London), and a £500 seed commission.
