This year (as in previous years) HorsLesMurs will be running two days of pitch sessions for artists/companies to present new projects at Festival Circa. The sessions will be on 29 & 31 October 2012 (with the first date dedicated to artists/companies outside France/Belgium and the second date to those within), and are organised as opportunities for artists to 'express their needs in terms of partnerships, residencies, production, and co-productions' to an international audience of promoters.
The sessions both run 10am-1pm, and each presenting artist/company is given 8 minutes for an oral presentation (in English or French – HLM staff will provide translation) of their project's aesthetic/artistic basis, and its technical requirements and production needs. Presenters can optionally show a slideshow or short video.
For artists/companies to apply they must have a new project to be premiered in 2013/2014. Presentation slots are limited (40 across the two days) and are allocated on a first come first served basis. It's also worth noting that 2012 is a big year for Circa: Auch's new creation space, Le CIRC, will be officially opened.
