• Street Performers Wanted for Serbia's Basker Festival

    Coming up on its third edition, Basker Festival is a summer street arts and busking festival ('Basker' translates as 'busker') held annually in Belgrade, Serbia. The organisers are currently seeking performers who thrive in public spaces for the next festival, taking place 30 August – 2 September 2012.

    They want to hear from acrobats, aerialists, jugglers and clowns, plus magic, music and variety artists who have short numbers they can perform for two shows per day over three days. They are also seeking a 30 minute clown or variety act for two shows per day in various locations throughout the city.

    The festival pays for travel, accommodation and food, plus offers a fee of 300€ per person additional to whatever can be collected from hat contributions.
