    Upswing

A killer opportunity here for an individual of Afro-Caribbean origin interested in furthering or developing a career in aerial performance to train as an apprentice with Upswing.

The successful applicant will be taken on for a nine-month period and put through a tailored programme that includes twice-weekly one-to-one and group training, plus two five-day intensive training blocks. The training will take place in London, and there is no cost.

Candidates should have at least two years prior experience in circus, gymnastics, dance, or a related activity, and of course should be dedicated and driven individuals intent on entering the world of aerial theatre. The apprentice programme has been designed with the intention and hope that the artist will work with Upswing on future productions.

To apply send a cover letter and CV detailing your relevant experience, plus a personal statement, either in writing or as a video, explaining why you're right for the programme. For more information or to apply e-mail info@upswing.org.uk or see here.
