• XTRAX Shorts at Greenwich Fair

    27 April 2012 Jobs & Opportunities
    XTRAX

Held within the frame of Greenwich Fair (which is a Dickensian mini-festival held in turn within the frame of Greenwich + Docklands International Festival), XTRAX Shorts is a pitch session for up to sixteen artists/companies to present new outdoor projects to an audience of international presenters and promoters, taking place on 23 & 24 June 2012.

To apply for a slot artists/companies need to be ready to present an idea for an outdoor project that will be available to tour in 2012 or 2013 (proposals can be submitted for shows that have been performed previously so long as they haven't toured widely in the UK or appeared at the previous Greenwich Fair). Presentations can last up to 10 minutes, must be delivered in English, and must be supported by visual aids (photos, drawings, film). Presentations will be filmed and posted on the XTRAX website after the event.

Those invited to present their work will receive: one night's accommodation, breakfast included, for one person on 22 or 23 June (if travelling from outside of London); and a fee towards travel expenses of £20 (London-based), £50 (UK, outside of London) or £100 (international). For more information and to apply for a presentation slot see the XTRAX website. Deadline is 10 May 2012 at 5pm.
