Galway Community Circus is currently looking for a Youth Circus Coordinator for a short-term four-month contract lasting 25 February - 23 June 2013.
It's a part-time position, 22hrs per week (Mon-Thurs), and Galway Community Circus are looking for 'a fun enthusiastic team player with all-round circus skills (any combination of aerial, acrobatics, juggling, equilibristics will be considered) and extensive experience in working with young people' to teach their Youth Circus classes (5-20 years of age) and two weekly adult aerial classes.
The position also carries an opportunity for independent training or creation as the coordinator will have access to free training space. There will as well be opportunities for work, training and performance with other Irish circus companies, and opportunities for training through the European Youth Circus Network CARAVAN.
