Returning to Dance Base after a showing at last year's Fringe, All or Nothing Aerial Theatre / Strange Bird Zirkus present a trilogy of works: 1,2,3 here we, a corde lisse solo; Spokes, which Sideshow saw at the Surge festival July 2010 and thought a little bland and simplistic in its interpretation of the (old, old) sea voyage narrative; and then Youkali, a short and evocative and very good Chinese pole solo by Moritz Linkmann that interrogates ideas of masculinity but sidesteps the usual techniques and modes of gendered performance.
