Celebrating the 25 year anniversary of Fool Time, the Bristol circus school that went on to become Circomedia, Look Back and Beyond is a four-day mini-fest of shows and events to celebrate the school's illustrious history. On 31 March there's a double-bill of works by Circomedia graduates: Green Eyed Zero's new piece Folie à Deux (seen last year as a work-in-progress at Jacksons Lane), and a turn from Fullstop Acrobatic Theatre; 2 April there's an all-day Open Space event, ‘What are we doing about circus in the UK?’, to debate the challenges and future of contemporary circus; the evening of 2 April there's a student and graduate cabaret; and then on 3 April there are drop-in taster classes in St Paul's Park, a series of talks and presentations from Bristol and near-Bristol practitioners including Ali Williams (NoFit State) and Doug Francis (Invisible Circus), and a launch for Flying High: New Circus in Bristol, a new collection of photographs by Monica Connell.
