The latest solo by the singular and charismatic French artist Jeanne Mordoj, La Poème is at Summerhall (a venue that you would think should well suit her morbid visual style) for an Edinburgh Fringe run. On the strength of her last UK performance, the very strange Eloge du Poil – which incorporated the skills of contortion, ventriloquism (with badger skulls) and egg manipulation into a very wry reflection on bearded ladies and feminine identity – this one comes recommended.
