Reviewed by Sideshow for its stay at the Roundhouse during CircusFest, Le Grand C is a tremendous show – a little too cool, perhaps, and sometimes at odds with its audience, but nonetheless a viscerally exciting and memorable experience. It takes as a very loose subject life in the city, but its true narrative is in the interactions between the seventeen performers, who pitch each other metres through the air and build high, dangerous human towers. A big deal to see the company in England; don't miss out.
