Instigated and led by the Finnish aerialist Ilona Jäntti, who's a sort of informal artist in residence at Bethnal Green's Museum of Childhood, this Pop-up Circus weekend will feature work from Ilona herself as well as from the artists Alice Allart (joining Ilona for the piece A Pony is a Small Horse, inspired by the Museum's collection of rocking horse antiques), Frederike (juggling in the various interesting nooks of the building), and Aino Ihanainen (with the four-hour, endurance knitting and handbalancing piece, Knit).
