A new short-format work being shown in the Roundhouse's Studio Theatre as part of the CircusFest, Expectation is a two-hander created by aerialist Maddie McGowan and writer Talia Randall, and directed by Silvia Mercuriali (one of the minds behind the 2012 CircusFest's immersive video-goggle show The Great Spavaldos). This one's billed as circus performance meeting spoken word as 'the audience is called upon to look, judge, laugh and celebrate the different faces of femininity'.
