A collaboration between the Finnish company Circo Aereo and the mime Thomas Monckton (a New Zealander who has strong connections to Finland and works with Kallo Collective), The Pianist is a comic farce that references the language of silent cinema. Sideshow hasn't seen the piece, but Monckton is an excellent Lecoq-trained mime, so perhaps it's worth going for the precise physical choreography he brings to performance.
