Under the umbrella of Paris' Hautes Tensions festival, Parc de la Villette and HorsLesMurs are organising an initiative called Thé des artistes on 10 April 2014. Spanning an afternoon, Thé des artistes is an opportunity for ten emerging companies (those with no more than two shows in their repertoire) to meet with small groups of promoters, pitch their future projects, and talk about their needs in terms of residencies, co-productions, etcetera .
Participants for Thé des artistes must have a project that will be created between 15 April 2014 and 31 March 2015. Presentations will take place 2.30 - 4.30pm on 10 April 2014; they can include a slideshow and video, but should be no longer than twenty minutes. Artists will present multiple times to different groups of promoters.
There's no registration fee, but artists need to cover their own travel and accommodation. To apply send the application form as a PDF to hautestensions@villette.com by 10 March 2014, or for more information contact g.mancuso@villette.com
