Gone in 20 Minutes is a national showcase opportunity that will support six artists or companies to develop and present a small- to medium-scale idea or project at four UK festivals / showcases – at Watch This Space Festival, at Stockton International Riverside Festival, within the outdoor programme of Waterman’s Arts Centre, and as part of Southwark Council’s Blackfriars Stories.
There are three prizes that will be awarded at the end of the programme. The Audience prize (£1000) will be decided by public vote at the showcase events. The Jury Prize (£1000) will be decided by a jury made up of one international and two UK-based outdoor arts specialists, who will also give detailed feedback to the participating companies. The Development Prize, awarded by the 101 Outdoor Arts Creation Centre, brings a week’s residency plus mentoring.
Deadline for applications is 25 February 2015. For more information and to apply see here.
