• Jacksons Lane BBC Performing Arts Fund Fellowship for Emerging Artists Working in Circus

    10 August 2014 Jobs & Opportunities
    Jacksons Lane

Jacksons Lane are looking for an emerging artist working within circus with whom they can make a joint application to the BBC Performing Arts Fund Fellowship.

The Fellowship is designed for people who have shown dedication to a career within the circus industry. You will probably have undertaken some form of internship or work experience in a professional company before, and may have had a small piece of work shown or developed. Applications can come from emerging performers, directors, producers or others, but please note that the Fellowship is an opportunity to work with Jacksons Lane over one year and is not a commission for a piece of work

Jacksons Lane will collaborate with the chosen artist to define a bespoke, year-long program that will 'develop, evolve and ignite their career'. Please note that any artists that have been professionally engaged by Jacksons Lane previously will not be eligible.

To apply e-mail a proposal (no more than two sides of A4) explaining why you should be considered for the Fellowship to artistic director Adrian Berry on adrian@jacksonslane.org.uk with the subject 'BBC Performing Arts Fund Fellowship'. Likewise e-mail any questions about the opportunity to Adrian on the same address.

More information on the BBC Performing Arts Fund Fellowship can be found here. The deadline for applications is 5pm on 13 August 2014. Interviews will be on 15 August 2014.
