Belfast's Outburst Queer Arts Festival, which will have its eighth edition this year with a programme running 14-22 November 2014, is currently open for submissions from artists interested in presenting work at the festival.
Outburst is open to submissions from emerging and established artists working in all genres, but is looking for proposals that meet one or more of the following criteria:
1. Has a lesbian, gay, bi, trans or queer theme.
2. Is by an LGBT or queer identified writer/producer/performer.
3. Is of particular interest to people who are LGBTQ.
Priority will be given to work that hasn't been shown in Northern Ireland before, and to the 'surprising, the new and the wonderfully queer'.
