In partnership with Circus Futures, SeaChange Arts are hosting a two-day circus and street arts symposium – Importing Knowledge, Exporting Talent – as part of this year's Out There festival in Great Yarmouth.
Taking place 18 & 19 September, the symposium will look at ways the circus and street arts sectors in the UK and abroad can learn from each other and foster cooperation. Among the proposed panels are a session looking at the different approaches of various creation centres in supporting work, another that focuses on how artists can export their work internationally, and an opportunity for artists to pitch ideas to a panel of promoters and producers.
The symposium begins at 4pm on 18 September with a welcome session, a keynote speech, networking and entertainment, before a full programme on 19 September.
The delegate fee is £50, which includes dinner on the 18th, lunch and dinner on the 19th, and then lunch and dinner for the rest of the festival weekend. More information here and registration here.
