Held within the frame of Mintfest and taking place 30-31 August 2014, XTRAX Shorts is a pitch session for UK and international artists to present new outdoor projects to a professional audience of presenters and promoters.
To apply for a slot artists/companies need to be ready to present an idea for an outdoor project that will be available to tour in 2015 or 2016 (proposals can be submitted for shows that have been performed previously so long as they haven't toured widely in the UK or appeared at a previous Mintfest). Presentations can last up to 10 minutes, must be delivered in English, and must be supported by visual aids (photos, drawings, film).
Those invited to present their work will receive: one night's accommodation, breakfast included, for one person on 29 August or 30 August; and a fee towards travel expenses of £50 (UK-based) or £100 (international).
