Watershed, a cross-artform venue and cultural centre in Bristol, has opened applications for an artist residency at its Pervasive Media Studio.
While the programme is open to all artforms, it's intended for artists who want to 'explore ideas at the point where art, culture and technology meet' and for those who'll benefit from the environment and community of the Pervasive Media Studio. Take a look at the Studio's Residents and Projects to get an idea of what goes on there.
The residency will run 1 September – 6 November 2014. Applications are open to artists who live and work in the UK and can come from individuals or groups. The successful applicant will receive a £3000 bursary, up to £1000 for travel and accommodation, a production budget of up to £1000 (for presentation of a work-in-progress or finished piece at the end of the residency), space at the Pervasive Media Studio, and various forms of peers support and guidance from the Watershed community.
