• Auditions for STREB's Mysterious, City-wide London 2012 Event

    25 February 2012 Jobs & Opportunities
    STREB

As part of the semi-incoherent mass of events surrounding the London 2012 Festival, famous New York choreographer and living brand Elizabeth Streb will be creating a one-off event, One Extraordinary Day: Streb Action, that'll take place across the capital.

LIFT – London International Festival of Theatre, who are also involved in the event, are now looking for dancers, acrobats, gymnasts, circus artists, aerialists, freerunners/traceurs and suchlike to perform in One Extraordinary Day alongside members of STREB, with auditions being held 12-14 March, 12-6pm, at the Hangar (candidates must attend all three days of the audition).

Successful candidates will need to be able to commit to rehearsal time of 3 x 3 hours p/w until mid-June with John-Paul Zaccarini, and then one month full-time with Elizabeth Streb and company till mid-July. Also note that the performance 'will involve working at extreme heights' (but probably you're all right with that, yeah?).
