Following a selection in Dommelhof that saw the twelve shortlisted CircusNext projects present to a jury of artists, professionals and CircusNext partners chaired by Camilla Damkjaer, five have now been selected as the 2012/2013 laureates. These are:

- Sisters
- La boca abierta, An adventure
- Cie Nuua, Lento
- Iona Kewney
Between now and April 2013, the five laureates will develop their projects with the support of a grant of around 10,000€, residencies with partner venues, and individualised mentoring. 27 & 28 April 2013 all five projects will present extracts of their work to a large industry audience at the Théâtre de la Cité Internationale in Paris, then at satellite presentations in Strasbourg (June), Fossano (June), and at one further location to be confirmed.
