Created by Phia Ménard's Compagnie Non Nova, L'Apres-midi d'un Foehn is the young audience counterpart to the dark identity fable Vortex. It uses the same striking visual imagery (a dance of plastic bags, animated by a ring of fans pointing inward to the centre of a round stage), but the performer in this case is more of a facilitator, or a keeper of spirits, and the tone of the work is chiefly a calm sense of wonder.
